2010 is here... LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!

Welcome to 2010!! If you thought 2009 was a good year at the field, you ain't seen nothin' yet. The updated 2010 calendar is now online. Players who have paid their anual $25 field dues may now reserve up to two (2) playdates at a time on dates that do not already have a game on them.
Build month is rapidly approaching. THe field will be CLOSED THE ENTIRE MONTH OF FEBRUARY while we make repairs, upgrade, and add new stuff to it. We'll be out there every weekend in February and the more people we have on hand, the faster and the more we can get built before the season starts in March. So, if you've got a free weekend, come on out and help us out. Full details for build month are up in the forums.
2010 marks the kickoff year for our "Don't Be A Dick" campaign at the field. As the number of players continues to rise, so do the enevitable number of players who don't call hits or play honorably. When those types of players show up, it ruins the day for everyone.
So, in addition to having easily identifiable referees on the field during regular games, we're trying to up the "awareness" factor with all of our players that "Hey, when you cheat, you're NOT FOOLING ANYONE. We can all PLAINLY SEE the bb's hitting you and when you just walk away and not call your hits, you look like an asshole". SO DON'T DO IT!!! It's just a game. This isn't the internet, there isn't any cool new "level up" leet gear for you to get at the end of the day. You're just going home like everyone else.
So for crying out loud, do us all a favor and play honorably on the field.
Event Details Here.
You've definitely heard about it, but have you ever BEEN to Noob Day? It is, without a doubt, the best thing you can do if you are new to the sport of Airsoft or have never been to the field itself. Noob Day 2009 had over 525 people in attendance, 475 of them players. It was the second largest singel day airsoft event held in the country and this year, we're gonna make it #1.
This event is DESIGNED FROM THE GROUND UP to get information about the sport and the field to not only the players, but also the parents of our younger guys and gals. We WANT parents to be involved in this sport with their kids because this is MOST DEFINITELY NOT the same as playing with those crappy clear toys you can buy at Wal Mart. We're not knocking those, they are great for an afternoon in your back yard, but the AEG's we play with on the field are a MAJOR step up from the Wal Mart guns and we want parents to fully understand just what their kids are about to get into.
The field is here for one purpose... to give area players a SAFE place to come out and enjoy their chosen sport without having to worry about neighbors calling the police because of a misunderstanding or having to worry about shooting up the local neighborhood because there is nowhere to play. We have 30 acres and ALL OF IT exists just for people to come and have a place to play.
Other than the $25 annual field dues, all of which goes towards the upkeep and expansion of the field, there is NO COST TO PLAY on our OPEN PLAYDATES. Noob Day is the very first game and open playdate of the year and we welcome all of the new guys out to the field. We'll have vendors, lunch, and a few surprises waiting for you. Plenty of parking and a very limited number of veteran player spots will be avaialable so you new guys won't ahve to worry about getting shot up by the guys with all the expensive gear.
We'll have a BUNCH of experienced players on hand who will be able to answer questions, show you around the field, and introduce you to the ABSOLUTE BEST AIRSOFT FIELD IN THE COUNTRY! March 20th, 2010... DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!!!
Everyone say hello to our sister team from New Zealand! Bad Karma New Zealand has been around for about 2 years and they are actively attracting 80+ player play dates when they play. Their forum is up now in the main forums, so when you get a chance, stop by and give 'em a shout!
We can't stop the madness! We're partnering with another local sponsor to keep you guys updated and informed about stuff that matters to us airsofters.
Airsofters, FPS games, and consoles.... a match made in heaven. And The Score of Cool Springs may be one of the closest places to heaven we can all get to here on Earth. These guys sell games, you can trade in yer old games and gear towards new stuff AND most important of all, you can rent out time to play on THEIR SYSTEMS. Complete with big screens and plenty of systems to have a pretty cool private party or get together, these guys run a neat shop. You may have seen them at a couple of games recently. They will be GIVING AWAY AN XBOX 360 Elite at the Wounded Warrior Project charity game on the 20th of December. That's gonna be a cool game with the $10 entry fee going to a really good cause, but now's yer chance to get an XBOX 360 Elite out of just showing up to play.

Bad Karma Airsoft is the 3rd largest Airsoft Field in the country and the largest field of it's kind in the U.S. The field is privately owned and 100% supported by the players who play on it. Bad Karma Airsoft is not a business... just a place to come and play. The field upkeep, additions and maintenance comes directly from the $25 annual field dues donated by the players. There is no other cost to play on the field with the exception of a couple special games held during the year. Once a player has paid their field dues, they can play FOR FREE at any open game or they may reserve the field for their own playdates.
